Hudson Valley Catskill Partnership (HVCP) is an umbrella organization for dozens of groups, NFPs, and agencies whose mission is to increase adult education, improve professional training, and serve the English as a Second Language community. HVCP has a large community of professionals who need a site that permits interactive coimmunications, sharing expertise, tracking and registering for events, and much more. Our Communiy Site solution includes integrated logins and custom back office registrant reporting tools. To meet special needs of HVCP members we created a front office tool (via the site itself) for adding/editing the Adult Ed Directory.

Once installed and customized, these components include Back Office administrative controls. Set it your way, and maintain easily and directly, via secure, password-protected access from any internet access. 
HVCP shares documents of all types, in a searchable, customizable Document Manager. We use KnowledgeBase, which includes moderated comments, user ratings, and archives. There are several options for managing your important materials, including DOCMan. Each offers particular advantages, some are more compatible with other major components, so each Community Site requires experience and careful testing to get the most stable, full-featured result. JOOMLA SECRET: Community Builder unites many third party Modules and Components, permitting one integrated login, form pre-fills, and other behind-the-scenes advantages. 
Forums are threaded discussion, file sharing, moderated events, and more. If your usrs can use email, they can use forums. Start a "thread", or topic, and all registered users can respond, to your message and any other postings. When done, the topic remains as enterprise intelligence. Forums are a favorite Help System for developers, retailers, and anyone who uses CRM.Top-down categorization and nomenclature, bottom-up issues and solutions, forums lets your staff and users build your documentation content and manage issues, in a natural and peer-based network setting. 
Your user directory already exists? Migrate it to a complete online application, and let members self-manage select information. Show public or private information, depending on user or group permissions. Need cross-communications? Some directory components allow direct messaging and auto-emailers. HVCP uses a complex subcategorization, to ensure coverage of the rich sets of education specialization talent and regional resources. |
