BlockBoard is a 100% Flash, interactive environment for the weather futures market.

An exclusive tool for NYWEX, the Flash tools are embedded in a customized Joomla installation, using secure, integrated login for both the application and the PHP-based back office that serves it.

Administrators also use this gated access to manage User identity information and to retrieve NFA-compliant histories and communication records. A User at any level can manage his own identity file content and password settings.

BlockBoard updates data live, to ensure timely information for critical decisions. Guest Users can see this data change; upper-level Users enjoy sophisticated interactive functions.

BlockBoard is a "one-stop" environment, offering all critical and supporting functions so highest-level Users can complete their research, make bids/offers, edit details based on weather forecast updates and counter-offers, and query the NYWEX staff via chat. Once all is completed, each Row can be marked-up by the Admin.

To make critical decsions, Users can popup the Depth window for any Row, and see the higher and lower numbers for a contract that is in play. This data, too, changes in real time.

Numbers are color-coded, to identify Best, Latest, and more.

Admins gain control over the Row Tool in order to submit by Proxy on behalf of clients. Shown here is how the Admin uses a dropdown to select a specific User for the Bid side. Users see these changes immediately.

When the clock icon at the far left of each Row (see above) is clicked, the timestamp for that submission is automatically displayed here.

Our unique map interface allows the entire Rows environment to instantly sort by region. Click "All" to revert to default sort.

It gives a sense of our comprehensive attention to details while developing detailed, multi-function applications.
